what performance parts do people recommend for a 400 small block chevy engine in my 71 impala.?

I'm looking for the most horsepower i can get. i'm going with a lot of edelbrock parts. My engine has a stock 2 barrel rochester carb. Is there a specific intake i should get for whatever edelbrock carb i get? and whats the best carb to put on my engine?

I hate to agree with chevyraceman383 as he is such a nerd but he is right. Your comments are silly. If you have a 71 Impala, dump the 400 and with your unlimited budget go purchase a Sonny Leonard big block. He supposedly has developed BBC based engines
