what are the best brake pads on the market?

hello
I need to get an inspection by the end of this month and surely know that i won't pass due to my brake pads. they're OEM brake pads for Kia Optima 2004, and not really satisfied with them.
Could anybody tell me one what brake pads

Remsa gold brake pads should suffice quite nicely, or akebono ceramic pads ( a bit more cash ). good luck
