Mazda Miata MX-5 Part Identification (Repair?)?

Had a family member rear end someone with a Miata, being low to the ground the crash avoided most of the bumper and went above, taking out the hood. Now there's a part that's damaged which I do not know the name of. On the MX5 which I think is around

the part that runs from one side to another of the fender, that also holds the radiator and hood lock is called...
