Okay, I have a sbc 350 was driving and radiator hose to engine came off, start smelling smoke before i got?
off freeway. As i began to slow engine cut off. No loud noises or bank. just stopped. Towed home. Car starts but i hear a noise like a knock coming from left side valve cover. Any theories of what may be wrong and how to fix? Please help
Remove the valve cover and check for a bent push rod or a broken rocker. This does happen every now and then, lets just hope that this is all that happened. Good Luck
