Can I make a spark plug spark with a 9 volt battery and capacitor?

If I use the 9 volt to charge up a capacitor, can the cap discharge enough power to make a automotive spark plug spark? If so, what kind of cap should I use, and how should I wire it?

NO

A spark PLUG takes high voltage across a gap...one capacitor...no matter how large will only charge to 9 volts from the battery...and the moment connected to the circuit will go down from there.
