I live in Michigan and I maybe going to Toronto, Ontario Canada, is it mandatory to have snow tires?

We have an all wheel drive Chrysler Pacifica and a 4 X 4 Jeep Liberty.

Definitely not mandatory (though I agree with the other answerer, they're nice to have). Toronto usually gets very little snowfall, right now there's just a light dusting on the ground. Even when we do have snow, the city's usually pretty fast about clearing
