Should the heater hose be hotter than the main radiator hose? jeep?

My jeep overheated. I replaced the thermostat and the water pump works. I do not know if the radiator is cloged. The heater hose is very hot and the main Radiator hose is cool. Dose that mean the coolant is not going into the radiator and just circulating

The heater hoses are gonig to gt hot because they are circulating heat into teh heater coil behind your firewall. But the "Main Radiator Hose" should get hot quick too. To be speicifc and certain here- we are talking about the hose from the
