How do i replace fuel filters in a 1988 Ford E150?

i have this really old van in my drive way that hasn't worked well for quite some time. the battery is shot and i need to know where to get one to fit it and which one to get. i also need to replace the fuel filters, but i don't know how to work on cars.

The fuel filter is behind the drivers side rail under the van. You will need a quick disconnect tool sold at your local parts house in 1/2. The plastic ones are better to me as they slide further in and are also cheaper. The battery can also be purchased
