hi, i have been finding mixed answers online regarding the removal of the carbon filter after 2 week of use. do i need the carbon filter after 2 weeks? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

Im not sure if you are setting up a new Eheim 2217 filter or you have an established tank and filter and just asking about the carbon pad itself.
