Can an infant bumbo seat get wet?

I don't have my babies bath seat with me (hotel) and the sink isn't big enough...can I use the bumbo or will it ruin it?

if it wasn't waterproof, dylans would be RUINED by now from all the puke he's gotten on it and all the times i had to clean it because of the puke...
