Are ceramic brake pads really necessary?
I'm getting new brake pads put on my car, which is a 98 mustang gt and theyre trying to charge me almost $250, just for the rear brakes, theyre claiming that part of the reason its so expensive is, the "recomended" ceramic pads. Now, I know
Ceramic brake pads just refer to the composition of the pad. Your 98' Mustang came factory with this type of pads on the rear and the shop is only following the replacement recommendation of the factory. Ceramic pads should be no more expensive than
