Has anyone else installed a K&N air filter kit, only to worse gas milage than what they had to start?

I drive a 2000 Ford Expedition. I was getting alittle over 16 MPG, then I installed the K&N kit and am getting 13 MPG! I did notice more power, but kinda wanted better fuel economy too. Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this, or has anyone had

I'm guessing you didn't reset the computer, By disconnecting the negativve battery cable for an hour or so and it should heplp out the MPG Could be that you're driving it harder now to hear the intake like most people do. However i've used K&N's in
