how do i fix a a power seat motor on a 1994 bmw 540i?

i have a 1994 BMW 540I, the passenger seat motor only moves the left side of the seat. right now my seat is laying all the way back and i am getting ready for a trip so i need the seat up. do you know what would cause this? and what can i do to fix it?

Go to bimmerforums.com or roadfly.com and go to the e34 section. Then do a search on "seat twist" and instructions should come up on how to fix this. Requires taking the seat out and you need to have a small propane torch to shrink some tubing.
